Femi Kuti, renowned for his energetic performances and powerful political messages, continues captivating audiences worldwide, whether at the iconic New Afrika Shrine in Lagos or global stages. In 2021, he released the acclaimed double album Legacy+ on Partisan Records, featuring his album Stop the Hate and his son Made Kuti’s debut For(e)ward.
Known for his unique Afrobeat sound, Stop the Hate showcases Femi's political convictions, with standout track "PaPaPa" earning a 2022 Grammy nomination. Femi's 51-minute Guinness World Record for the longest-held saxophone note in 2017 is just one example of his boundless energy. In 2021, he participated in Global Citizen's 24-hour global concert from the New Afrika Shrine. Femi is also in demand for collaborations, working with artists like Coldplay, Robert Hood, and IAM. In 2023, Femi and his band, The Positive Force, continue touring, offering vibrant shows that celebrate African culture and music.
Led by multi-instrumentalist Hannabiell Sanders, Ladies of Midnight Blue is a dynamic duo that fuses rhythms, brass, and vocal chants to create an energetic musical tapestry that transforms every stage into a vibrant celebration of freedom and community. Hannabiell Sanders and Yilis del Carmen Suriel share an unmatched chemistry that drives their mission to use music as a tool for social change. With their resonant sound and commitment to meaningful artistry, they continue to push creative boundaries, building connections and uplifting spirits through music that is as powerful as it is unforgettable.
