Abraham Cupeiro

Abraham Cupeiro is a talented musician and instrument builder who specializes in reviving ancient instruments. He studied classical music but is equally at home in folk, jazz, and early music. 

Cupeiro has performed with renowned orchestras worldwide and collaborated with acclaimed filmmakers. His passion for music and his dedication to preserving the past have led him to create a unique and captivating sound. In cinema, he worked with Ridley Scott on Gladiator II and participated in two major Netflix productions: Our Planet (2023), directed by Steven Spielberg, and the biblical thriller Mary, starring Anthony Hopkins, where he performed on 25 different instruments. Additionally, he composed the soundtrack for María Solinha and collaborates with Hans Zimmer’s 14th Street Music.
