Donald Grant & Friends: ''The Night Overtook Us'' with Scottish Ensemble & Special Guests

Join acclaimed fiddle player, arranger, and composer Donald Grant for a captivating evening of new music. Hailing from the Highlands of Scotland, Grant brings his deep-rooted connection to traditional music into a contemporary setting, featuring his latest work, Thuit an Oidhche Oirnn (The Night Overtook Us). Written for himself, a stellar band, and the Scottish Ensemble—a pioneering collective of string players—this concert will showcase some of Scotland’s most revered musicians: Innes White (guitar), Tom Gibbs (piano), Euan Burton (double bass) and Conal McDonagh (uillean pipes) . 

They will also be joined by celebrated vocalists Siobhan Miller, Cahalen Morrison and Mischa MacPherson in a unique collaboration that blends traditional and contemporary songs with innovative arrangements for band and string orchestra.
