The Glad Cafe
The Glad Cafe is a not for profit music venue with a licensed cafe in the Shawlands area of southside Glasgow. Their well-equipped venue provides a welcome space in the southside for showcasing up and coming local musicians as well as internationally known acts.
There are single yellow lines and some pay and display parking bays located outside the Glad Cafe. Disabled Badge holders can park here.
We have excellent public transport links which we encourage visitors to use in line with our commitment to reduce our environmental impact.
By bike

By rail
The Glad Café is serviced by the Crossmyloof station, around a 10 minute walk. Trains run there from Glasgow's Central Station, a 6 minute journey. There are 4 trains an hour Monday to Saturday and 3 trains per hour on a Sunday. Plan your journey at scotrail.co.uk.

Taxi’s are able to pick-up/drop off directly outside the Glad Café. The nearest taxi rank is across the road outside the Langside Halls.
