Having played major festivals across the globe and previously been awarded both Live Band of the Year and Album of the Year at BBC Alba’s Scot Trad Music Awards Elephant Sessions return to the 02 Academy to make a special appearance at Celtic Connections.
From humble beginnings in the Highlands of Scotland, Elephant Sessions create a progressive blend of intricate tunes with mandolin and fiddle fusing with a backline of bass and drums that celebrates the very best in trad, funk and electronica. Creating a modern sound for a modern world, their brand of indie folk has graced some of the world’s best festivals including Glastonbury and their latest album For the Night stormed straight into the Official UK folk charts at No 3.
Please note that large bags including rucksacks are not allowed. There are no facilities to leave large bags or luggage. Only one small bag per person is permitted and it must not be bigger than A4 size.
