Robert Vincent and Xan Tyler

Change is in the air for award-winning artist Robert Vincent. The Liverpool singer/songwriter released his fourth studio album in June 2024 and his music is riding the winds of change with Vincent revealing “I’m learning how to lower my barriers and have made a more personal album than ever before.” 

When Robert’s third LP, the critically-acclaimed In This Town You’re Owned, was released by Thirty Tigers and walked straight into a worldwide pandemic. Despite stalled promotional plans and tours, the record resonated enough to win the Americana Music Association UK’s ‘Album Of The Year’ award for 2021. 

Xan Tyler’s women’s empowerment inspired album Holding Up Half the Sky reached No.4 in the Official Scottish albums chart in May 2024 with radio support from 6 music and BBC radio Scotland. Xan has since been in high demand with gigs including three nights opening for The Blow Monkeys.

Holding Up Half The Sky was produced by Boo Hewerdine and features an array of talent including John McCusker, Emma Pollock, Louis Abbott, Pete Harvey, Adam Scott, John Rooney and Gustaf Ljundren.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robert Vincent's appearance at Celtic Connections has been rescheduled to Thursday 30th January and has been moved to Cottiers Theatre.
