Celtic Connections proudly presents Donald WG Lindsay & Alasdair Roberts
Scottish musicians Donald WG Lindsay and Alasdair Roberts, friends for thirty years, are embarking on their first duo tour in autumn 2024. Known for their unorthodox musical paths, they will present a blend of traditional and original music, combining pipe tunes and guitar with a selection of songs.
Their repertoire spans Scottish fiddle, Highland piping, Hungarian and Romanian influences, and Northumbrian tunes. Songs include rare ballads, Scots lyrical pieces, and original compositions. Audiences can expect an evening filled with rich, historical Scottish music, celebrating the artistry and long-standing friendship of these two unconventional musicians.
