Celtic Connections 2024
Hailing from Williamsburg, Virginia, Bruce Hornsby brings his extensive back catalogue to Celtic Connections 2024. The 13-time Grammy nominee first rose to fame with The Way It Is, the debut album with his group The Range, which helped the band win the Grammy for Best New Artist. The title track became the most-played song on American radio in 1987, while Tupac Shakur’s timeless classic ‘Changes’ builds on the song’s iconic melody.
An in-demand performer and collaborator, his 23 albums have sold over 11 million copies worldwide, spanning the genres from folk rock, jazz, and bluegrass, to Southern rock, country, and blues. His most recent studio album, ‘Flicted, was released in May 2022.
