Edinburgh-born Ross Wilson, aka Blue Rose Code, has made his name in recent years as one of the most powerful singer-songwriters and live performers on today’s UK scene. Frequently likened to John Martyn and Van Morrison, his timeless musical mix of soul, jazz, country, pop, Americana and Celtic influences is anchored by soul-baring, nakedly emotive songcraft, addressing themes of love, loss, travel, home and hard times. Following fresh acclaim for his latest album, 2020’s With Healings Of The Deepest Kind, he’s joined here by a full band line-up and horn section.
“Ravishingly beautiful, a burnished blaze of Caledonian soul, muted jazz and poetic recitation” (Uncut)

Welsh singer-songwriter Eve Goodman, selected by BBC Wales for their Horizons new talent programme in 2020, crafts beguiling contemporary folk in both English and Welsh, equally inspired by the natural world and her own raw experience. She’s currently at work on her debut album, a meditation on loss, grief and the journey towards hope.
